A Dull Day By: Sean
I overheard my parents saying my name about something I didn’t quite catch. “Hmm. I wonder what they’re talking about, I said to my self. I went to the bathroom, washed my face, brushed my teeth and grabbed a bag of cereal that was my favorite; Honey and oats blenders. I loved the taste of sweet honey, flaky bits, and crunchy clusters. Everyone shouted out to me “Happy Birthday”. I was very happy to see that everyone remembered that it was my birthday. I went to my father and said, “Can I have my party outside? Please!“I, I begged my father. “’I’m sorry son”, my father said. It is raining hard since 7am. It is too bad for us to go outside. “What” I said. “This is not fair! I walked around in circles angry at the rain. I’ve seen it raining cats and dogs. After eating, the sweet smell of my clusters grabbed my attention I heard my brother’s voice saying “come over here!” As I walked to the back room he told me sorry about the party. Then he made a game that lightened me up. I know that he knows that it was not fair for me to suffer. So I played for a little while then the rain stopped. The sun was shinning deep and brightly. My dad said do you want to have it still? I screamed, “YES!” I said happily. And so it was. I enjoyed my birthday party and the rest of the day. On that rainy day, I realized that there always something to do if your plans don’t work out the way you planned for them to.
THE END!
