STOP

“Stop running” my mom shouted “okay” I said paying no attention. Running in my grandma’s backyard the wind drafted me around and around as my cousin and I played ring around the rosy. A great wind pushed me into my cousin arms. It smelled just like fresh green turf mix with cheese burger smell. The stream flew up as my grandma opened the grill. “Who wants a cheese on their burger” my grandma yelled “me!!!!!!!!!!” my cousin and I said impatiently, “I don’t want no cheese” my cousin Jermaine announced. “I want one on my uncles burger” Pookie shouted. “I hope you don’t expect someone to make you a burger. Get up and make your own” my mom shouted. I was so hungry. I was staring so much I got dizzy. I felt so sick I felt the vomit go up and down in my stomach. I thought I was going to pass out. I finished the burger so fast that it only took me two minute to eat it.

“You want to race my cousin” Lizzie offered “Yeah sure” I agreed. We walked over to this cemented alley in my grandma’s backyard. Jermaine shouted on you mark get set go. Both my cousin and I ran as fast as we could. I looked back to see where my cousin was. Not looking, I tripped on a rock. I flew in the air. It felt like time just froze for five minute. Bam then it happened. Then I crashed against the cement floor. My cousins came running after me. They picked me up and carried me back to my mom. The tears are running down my face like a waterfall. The pain in my body felt some needles through my bones. “Jocelyn what happened?” my mom asked worried. “Go get peroxide” my grandma yelled. Jermaine comes running with the peroxide. “Here” my cousin shouted.  I was crying so hard I thought I was going to get sick. My mom took good care of me and bandaged me up. I learned a very good lesson that day. The lesson I learned that “the wiser are older and always right and “Moms know best”.
