We all were lined up in front of the church in the freezing cold.” yes is graduation day, Sixth grade here we come”. Then we got the signal to walk inside. As we walked in we held each others hand, but we had to let go. As we sang the national anthem I looked back at her and smiled. Then we had to sit and just listen. We got up again to sing another song “unwritten”. Then we listened to Agnes Martinez’s speech .she was there for a while it kind of got tiring but the funny thing about this was that people would start clapping and she would keep on going. After that we sung our final song “perfect fans” and that was when we started to see the tears. After we left I stayed outside with my best friend.” I can’t wait for the sixth grade” I said. “Yeah, but we’re not going to be in the same school “said my best friend Loris with a sort of sadness in her eyes “I’ll miss you” she said don’t worry Loris we have like a week to be together” I said hugging her tightly as she started to cry. “It’s going to be ok” I said as I felt a tear drop rolling down my face. Let’s go home we have to get ready for the prom. Our parents went into the car. “Come we have to go” said my mom. “No thanks we want to walk I said   “well ok want ever you say” said Tanya Loris’s mom. As my father started the car we crossed the street. When we got to my apartment we got out of those white dresses, and changed into jeans and a nice shirt, and we went shopping for a while. We didn’t go too far we just went to footlocker and then we went to the Manhattan mall just to look. Then we went to her house to get ready for the prom. It took her a while to find out what she wanted to wear “come on Loris, hurry up” I heard a voice from outside “Loris, Ciani!” shouted our friend Kayla. “We’re almost ready its just she doesn’t know what to wear” I shouted back “well ya better hurry because want to go” said Angely and I grabbed the first thing I saw which was a sports dress “put this on and lets go” I said “you know. I’m really going to miss you” she exaggerated then we finally left as night went away we saw how fast that day moved and we saw how fast our lives moved. As we left we held each others hand and reminded ourselves about the good and bad times we had together and we also reminded ourselves on how we didn’t get along with each other at first. It was clear that you should always take advantage of the time you have with others because time flies and then you really don’t appreciate them until they are gone.
