When I pulled the fire alarm By: Samy
I was in class doing all my work. Then it was time to go home and we were going down the stairs. Then a kid told me to touch the fire alarm. When every body went down the stairs I was in front of the alarm. I was shaking, Then I pulled the alarm and started running down the stairs.
Then the principal stopped me and with her red eyes she looked at me and asked me mad “Samy did you do it?” shaking I did not say anything. Then yelling she asked me again Samy did you do it!” Then something came to my mind and my mind was saying “if you say it was you, you will get in big, big trouble. Then for the last time she said “Samy did you pull the fire alarm.” Then something came out of my mouth “yes. it was me”
Then she said “I wont cancel the senior trip. But I will call your mom and suspend you for a day.” Then I put my head down and tears started to come out of my eyes.
This experience taught me that it’s better to tell the truth than to keep a lie. If I had not told the truth, then my senior trip would have been canceled. Honesty is the best policy.
