KAPPA IV Memoir - Mr. Almanzar

            It was a beautiful day for me because it was my prom. I was getting ready.  I was doing my hair. Put my dress and shoes on. Then I put my makeup on and my mom and I went to my prom.         

My mom and I were on our way to the prom. So I asked “why can’t I  go to the prom by my self” “because I said! No!!” “It not fair” I said “so life is not fair” she screamed.

Suddenly I see my date “oh, my God he is coming!  Oh my God!” he had a pink shirt and a black  suit .  “He looks so hot and cute” I said. “So   what? I had better  date than you”  my mom said  “ So what!!” I exclaimed . But he got closer and the only thing I could say was “ Oh my God”.                                                                                                         When he  came he said “Hi! You look beautiful .  Your dress matches my suit” ”Thank you“ I responded. So when we were on our way, my mom was asking him like 50 questions. So I told her to stop but she kept talking.                                                                    When we got to my school I said “but mami” “But baby. You know you are still my baby. My chocolate bonbon” My date laughed and I screamed very loud “Why did you say that  in front of people.  I hate you.“ My mom was very shocked. So I ran very fast to my aunts house that was 5 block away.

What I learned was to think before you speak because you can hurt peoples feelings.
