             Today I am going to tell you a story. An important event in my life. Never betray your instincts.!!! I AM SERIOUS!!! You will see.      

              One hot boring Friday afternoon about 1:00 P.M I asked my mother if I can take my bike out for a ride. She said “Yes” changing her tone. But only if you are careful. “Yes” I said quickly. “Love you, bye” and boom! I shut the door. I rush out the house like a race car with my bike. When I realized that I was not really hype, that was a warning.            I saw some friends I knew, so I asked, “Want to ride with me? It will be fun! Trust me. Something amazing is going to happen.” “OK” They all said “Don’t lie to us. You know how we are”.             Then once I saw a perfect steep hill, I turned into a dare devil. Still knowing that I did not have breaks I looked at my friends with wide eye balls. The first time we went down it was fun and I made it. But see, I had to push my luck. The second time I asked if anyone wanted to go again. They said, “all right”. But once we got to half of the hill, they are turned back and changed their minds. But I still went.            Once I hit the top and sped down. Now I am going down the hill about 100 miles per hour. The bumps were getting me out of control. “Damn”. Then the moment happens. “Am I hurt?” The answer was yes. “Do I have a broken leg? No.” I was so embarrassed I was speechless. I went home. I betrayed my instincts.            Now you know what can happen when you betray your instincts. Bad things happen just like the saying “What goes around, comes around!”.
