KAPPA IV Memoir - Mr. Almanzar

It was that day when it happened. So I was waiting with my sister for my mommy to pick me up. Then she did and I was happy “mommy, I’m hungry” I said. “Do you want a donut, said my mommy” “yes” I replied. So I got one and we went to pick up my brother. We were walking down the hallway and I couldn’t stop staring. I walked into a sharp red metal pole. The throbbing pain on my forehead was unbearable. I had to go to the hospital because I busted my head open! “Let’s go Kayla” my sister calls me to go in the doctor’s room. When I was going to get the needle, I felt mopy I was ready and already feeling the pain. He was about to start injecting that painful pin in my arm. I closed my eyes and the doctor started. But it didn’t hurt. I just felt a little pinching or pulls in my frightened arm. But I was just fine. I could not believe it.  About a few minutes later, he (the doctor) was finally finished, I was thinking to myself. I got up and signed out of the hospital. I walked out with my mommy and my sister. We decided to take the quick way home; a taxi. We get home and I was relieved. I went to bed and closed my eyes. Then the next day I went to Kindergarten . A few minutes later and school was over. My mommy picked my sister and I from school and left to get my brother from school. We got there and I asked him, “Christopher, can I have a piggy back ride?” He told me to wait until he could take off his bookpack. I was impatient. So, I jumped on his back. We both fell amd I hit my head in the door as we fall. Then I started laughing. I learned that day that you should pay attention to what you are doing. Distractions can ruin your everyday experience.
