KAPPA IV Memoir - Mr. Almanzar

One time not to long ago I came home and my mother yells from the kitchen “Maya you have a letter”.  I went into the kitchen to find out it was true…..  My mommy hands me a letter once I saw the address. I already knew who it was from. I slowly opened the letter to catch the excitement. My sister couldn’t wait any longer. So she yelled across to me “just open my old school!” As I took a grip on it, my hands were sweating. You could hear the paper crumbling and I could hear the gods singing.  It was a letter saying Im going to the to the c.p.e’s [previous school] annual fall festival.  There were bugs doing construction in my stomach [I WAS SO NERVOUS OF GOING]. But what if my friends aren’t going to be there? What if they don’t want me to be there? What if….. Suddenly I had a feeling that this wasn’t going to turn out so good. So I ask my dad about the problems I was having, how I was worried about the way my other friends thought of me. To be sure that my dad wasn’t just trying to cheer me up, I asked my siblings my mother and even talked to my cat. They all basically told me the same thing but in different terms [well except for the cat]. Finally the day has come of the festival. I saw all my good friends. They all where as nice as before and paid no attention to my new personality. All they cared about was seeing me again and having fun. All the things I had been worrying about where thrown in the garbage.
