KAPPA IV Memoir - Mr. Almanzar

“ We shouldn’t have gone out”, said  Kathyana. " But at least we told mom’’ I said. “Yeah but now she is not going to trust us when we are alone”  said Yismery. "Well, if you don’t realize it, is our fault”, said Jessica.

            We decided to go to New Jersey. We were getting dressed when our mom called and said “Don’t go out. I have a feeling something bad is going to happen.” She was in Ecuador alone. We were like “Okay. Okay.” We didn’t pay attention and we went out any ways. We were telling each other not to tell our mom because then she won’t let us go out anymore and she would get mad at us.

            We were walking to the car when we saw 2 cars almost crash. We were like “oh my gosh.” When we were on our way we were laughing, making jokes, listening to music, and having fun. We were eating and making fun of my sister. My mom called us again and asked us what we were doing. ”Nothing here home all boring” lied my older sister, kathyana. We were pretending to be talking like always. When we said bye on the phone, we started to laugh. When we were getting inside the Lincoln tunnel, my sister, Kathyana was closing the windows and my sister, Yismery, had her head out. We all started laughing. Kathyana was laughing so hard she let go of the wheel.

            Everybody calmed down. Then it was quite. When we got out the Lincoln tunnel for no reason I started laughing. Then my sisters started to laugh because they remember what happen to Yismery. Kathyana started to laugh so hard she was letting go of the wheel. We were getting close to a wall. I taught to myself “My life is over.” We all started to scream.

            “Watch out!!!” I shouted. Kathyana grabbed the wheel and spin it all around to the left. Her car was old. We were saved but then came another car and we almost hit it by a few inches. We were all scared with red faces. Then we started to laugh and talk about it. We eventually told our mom. She was very mad and worried. She was teaching us a lesson. We felt like 3 years old but we deserved it.
