Memory Poem
New York , New York night
Scared, scared of New York sight
Darkness of New York sky
My heart is beating so high
I hear plane engines roar
I hear a taxi beep, beep, and beep
Why was my heart beating so fast?
Why was I so scared? Why was it so dark?
Sadness
Sad memories
There was no light- it Was so black because
It was at night.
When I first came to New York
I was so sad because I didn’t know
The people, the words and no friends.
Poetry Hides
Inside my blood.
They move all over
My body inside my brain
Help me move my feet that I can walk
Poetry hides inside my dream.
Every night when I’m sleeping
In my bed I dream about a bad things
It makes me feel so sad.
Poetry hides inside the computer.
It the computer to wake up the computer
To get it work faster.
Poetry hides at the bottom of the beach.
You can be swimming at the beach I can
Think when I close my eyes and I’m saving
Someone's life.
Poetry hides between Haiti and American.
Because they help my country with people
That their feet they break.
Self-Portrait Poem
